We offer a selection of pole finishes to go with our working hunter fences

Quality tantalised 100mm (4inch) diameter poles
Can be stained green,light brown, or dark brown
Water based wood colour treatment used non smelling

Working Hunter Planks

Our standard straight planks are suitable for BSJA competition or working hunter
Fitted with metal Plank brackets designed and made by our selves to prevent planks splitting
Made from top quality joinery redwood 20cm depth x 5cm thickness
Finished with 3 coats of high quality exterior varnish
Various lengths avaliable

Derby Rails

16ft Derby Rail Set consists of :

8 x 2.4mtr planks
3 x stands fitted with track system
Supplied with full set of key hole cups

Max jumping height of 1.2mtrs

Types of Pole

Heartwood

Heartwood is our standard range of pole. Machined from the centre of the log and then is pressure treated. This type of pole has a higher chance of warping or splitting, but does not affect the strength of the pole, and is no cause for complaint.

Quarter Cut

Quarter cut is a higher spec of pole due to being machined from the outer section of the log, so has less tension in the grain, so therefor has less chance of splitting or warping, although due to the nature of the product, if this does occur, it will not affect the strength of the pole therefor is no cause for complaint.
